Reporting to the Manager, Human Resource Management, the jobholder will be responsible undertaking activities in the Human Resource Division.
Implementing Human Resource policies and strategies;
Processing staff Recruitment, deployment, promotions and transfers;
Complying with statutory and regulatory requirements relating to Human Resource management;
Processing disciplinary cases;
Administering employee welfare programs;
Processing salary, retirement benefits, Medical claims, Group Personal Accidents and Group Life schemes;
Processing of leave applications;
Developing and implementing Human Resource Management System (HRIS);
Any other duties lawfully assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements for Appointment
Must have served in the grade of Human Resource Management/Development Officer or equivalent position for a minimum period of three (3) years
Must have a Bachelor Degree in any of the following disciplines:- Human Resource Management/Development; Education; Business Administration; Business Management ,Social Sciences or any other related qualifications from a recognized institution;
Must have a Post-Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management from a recognized institution;
Must be a member of a recognized Human Resource management Professional body;
Must have a Certificate in Senior Management Course lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a recognized institution;
Experience in the processing and management of payroll will be an added advantage;
Experience of working with IPPD and GHRIS system will be an added advantage;
Must have a Certificate in computer applications from a recognized institution;
Must have shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results;
Must have analytical, financial and human resource management skills;
Must be able to work in a collaborative team environment.
