About the Role
Dash is building a unified alternative payment network for over 1 billion Africans. Dash allows its users to send, spend, save, and pay regardless of currency and provider.

Dash is looking for a visionary, missionary and talented Oversee the development and maintenance of applications aimed at a vast number of diverse Android devices.

What You’ll Do
Lead and optimize our technical approach to building our core platform, web apps, public and private APIs, and third-party integrations.
Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Contribute to the design and development of our Android app (written in a mix of Java and Kotlin).
Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
Scope new projects and features with our product team, and implementing them (including contributing to some parts of our backend systems when needed).
Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Contribute to the overall engineering roadmap, including building out new products for the market

Required Qualification and Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline
Minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience
Experience with Android SDK
Experience working with remote data via REST and gRPC
Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
