KCSE 2021 Results: Top Performing Candidates, Schools In Sub-Counties

Education Cabinet Secretary Prof. George Magoha on Saturday released the results of the 2021 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examinations.

The CS said 826,807 candidates sat for the examinations across various schools countrywide, noting that 50.9% were male while 49.1% were female.

He said 18 counties had more female candidates than males, among them; Taita Taveta, Machakos, Kitui, Meru, Elgeyo Markawet, Kakamega, Vihiga, Tharaka Nithi, Uasin Gishu, Laikipia, and Kisumu.

He listed the best performing schools and students in the sub-counties as follows:

\1. Nyakeore Secondary School – performing index (65.2)

\2. Kebulonik Secondary School, Rift Valley (57)

\3. Banisa Mixed Secondary School, Mandera

\4. Manyatta Mixed Secondary School, Eastern

\5. Shibanda Mixed Secondary School, Western

\6. Heni Secondary School, Central

\7. Mary Happy Day School

\8. Al-Farsy Girls Secondary School.
