Bad News to Restaurants, Clubs and Bar Owner as MoH Makes an Abrupt Move


The ministry of health that is under the leadership of Mutahi Kagwe as the cabinet secretary, has been on the forefront of fighting against the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic that was first reported in the country in March 2020.

The ministry of health has confirmed 3328 new positive cases from the sample test 11,197 in the last 24 hours. This makes the positivity rate to increase to 29.7%. Health CAS Dr Mercy Mwangangi has issued the press statement from Afya House in Nairobi.

It’s bad news to restaurants, clubs, supermarkets, shopping malls and bank owners following the latest announcement made by Dr Mercy Mwangangi that before the Kenyans access indoor services from these institutions, they should provide proof showing they are vaccinated against Covid-19.

These are bad news as the directive comes during this Christmas festival season where citizens have planned to gather to different clubs and restaurants to enjoy themselves.
