The school principal of Buruburu girls Highschool has finally opened up about an incident that happened yesterday in the evening after a number of students were seen jumping out of a building following a fire outbreak that occurred in the evening.
In a video that has been shared by a reliable source of information, several female students could be seen jumping up off from a school building in a video that was recorded by a passerby who took it from a distant.
The video sparked Alot of mixed reactions from a number of kenyans along with politicians who called upon the Cabinet secretary of education proffessor George Magoha to look into this incident in order to find out why students are burning their schools.
According to the reports given by most Kenyans, they claimed that it was so unfortunate that these students are currently studying on a back to back basis without being given a break to go home. For most Kenyans, they claimed that it was not okay for students to be studying like computers and robots without being given any time to rest.
The former Governor of Nairobi, Mike Sonko who also expressed his concerns after the incident called upon the ministry of education to look into this incident before anyone gets hurt or in worse case scenario, dead.
While reacting to this incident, Buruburu Girls principal has revealed that no student was seriously hurt in the process adding that they’re yet to find out what caused the fire.
According to the reports given by principal, he said that the incident was blown out of proportion claiming that unlike what most people were claiming, it was only one Dormitory that caught fire adding that the school management took care of the outbreak as soon as they received the alert.
