Kane Evans, a Warriors player, got angry in the afternoon when he faced the Sharks after he was reported three times and sent to the bin for sin twice in incidents caused on Sharks actor Will Chambers.
Evans first got caught up in sin by throwing two punches at serial sledger Will Chambers in a snap all brain time.
The Warriors prop was sent to the ballot box by throwing two punches to the left of the Sharks center that turned the game over.
Points were tied 6-6 when the Chambers forced a profit on Evans before the Warriors’ superstar got up and threw a number of punches, allowing the Sharks to score two tries while off the field of sin.
The Warriors survived two crazy routes for Kane Evans to run Cronulla and win back-to-back games for the first time this season.
Following on 10 points at half-time after Evans was jailed for a foul on Sharks’ Will Chambers, the Warriors survived another ten minutes off the bench to secure an impressive 18-16 victory.
There were a lot of heroes in the second half when Reece Walsh and Euan Aitken tried and were followed by a Walsh penalty kick that put them ahead with 13 minutes left.
But it was an amazing defense that crossed the line, not conceding a single point in the second half, despite Evans scoring terribly, sending the Sharks falling out of the top eight.
