Caroline Kangogo : No Police Officer Should be Seen in Kangogo’s Burial Today

Caroline Kangogo :

Policewoman Caroline Kangogo will be buried at her parents’ home in Iten, Elgeyo Marakwet district, today, Thursday, July 29.

However, the suspect will not be granted a warrant such as that of deploying police officers who die on duty.

Police said they would not attend his funeral because of the circumstances surrounding his death as he allegedly took his own life, the Daily Nation reported.

As of Wednesday, July 28, Kangogo’s family said police had not approached them about his funeral plans. Kangogo’s uncle, Robert Kipkorir, who repeatedly serves as his family’s spokesman, said they had finalized the funeral arrangements and would give him a standard.

He said the 34-year-old woman would not be burned at the stake as she allegedly sent a text message to police saying they had a text message that could not be corrected on her phone.
