Caroline Kangogo is the number one suspect in the cold-blood murder of senior constable John Ogweno and Peter Ndwiga. Caroline Kangongo was born in 1897 in a village called Kamogich in Elgeyo Marakwet County.

Caroline Kangogo’s parents are Barnaba Kipkoech Korir and Leah Kangogo.

Caroline Kangogo Early Life and Education

Caroline Kangogo was born in 1897 in Kamogich. She was brought up by her parents Barnaba Kipkoech Korir and Leah Kangogo in Elgeyo Marakwet.

According to sources, she is the firstborn child. She is a Christian and was brought up in a church-based environment. Kangogo started school in Nyawa nursery in 1993.

She went to a boarding primary school there in Nyawa. She sat for her Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) in 2004 where she scored 305 marks.

After qualifying, she joined Alphonsus Mutei Girls School and obtained a C- in her KCSE.

After high school, she took up peer a counseling course in Keiyo Professional Counselors.

Kenya Police Admission

During her years in Kenya Police College in Kiganjo, she got a first-class in shooting and range classification in 2008.

In 2014 she got the chance to train as a Corporal in Kiganjo. Security analysts suggest that she used her skills to commit the crime since no sound was heard during the murder.

Kangogo has served in a total of four different police stations:

2008: Served in Mombasa Police Training College

between 2010 – 2013: Kaloleni Police Station

2013- 2015: Worked in Kenya Police College in Kiganjo

2015 – to date: Served as a corporal in Central Police in Nakuru

Caroline Kangogo Marriage

The suspect was married to a senior maritime Police Officer in Mombasa and had two children aged 8 and 11 years.

Her marriage did not last long after Kangogo fought with his husband over infidelity. The two had a separation but agreed to co-parent.

Before the murder, she lived with her children but the husband has taken the children.

Conduct

According to her colleagues, she is described to be a calm and cheerful person. It is believed she does not calmly take a threat and does not run away from any sort of challenge.

It is believed she worked as a sex worker from her work in the police service. She is known to entertain men with money and would break up with them after it ended.
