Time to Say Goodbye, 96-Year-Old Dj Ends His Career in Hong Kong

After more than 70 years on the Radio, Ray Cordeiro has finally bid goodbye to his listeners with a song by Sarah Brightman and Andrea Bocelli. Ray Cordeiro who is both fluent in English and Cantonese bid farewell to his beloved listeners after 1AM News. This marked the end of his career 72 years ago since he steps foot in the studio. Ray has co-hosted famous figures like Tony Bennett, The Beatles, and Cliff Richard he also foresaw the rising star, Sam Hui.

According to the 2000 Guinness Book of World Records, Ray Cordeiro is marked the most log lasted DJ. He is well known for his deep slow voice which is easy to listen to. In his last show, he played tunes from Louis Armstrong, The Carpenters, and Perry Como. He was born in Hong Kong and is of Portuguese origin.
